Speedrenting was created by Liz McLean in Queenstown, NZ back in 2006. It takes the principles of speed dating and applies them to the dreaded flatmate search - taking all the pain out of finding the perfect people to flat with.

History.

TVNZ's Close Up was quick to pick up on the revolutionary concept when Speedrenting hit Wellington, NZ in 2008. Check out the video clip, filmed at an early Speedrenting event   You can see how easy it is for flatmates to match up in a relaxed social atmosphere.

Speedrenting, a worldwide first, runs exclusively at Juice Bar in Auckland and Mighty Mighty in Wellington. Our enthusiastic team are rapidly expanding this exciting concept and signing up Speedrenting bars in towns all around New Zealand.
